Swanage Notices

Swanage Meeting has an average of 7-10 attending every 2nd & Last Sunday in the Month.

Quakers use a book entitled Quaker Faith & Practice. ‘The book’s great strength is that it achieves its purpose of expressing the ‘soul’ of the Quakers…’ It includes Advices and Queries; a section that is also published in its own right and is given out freely. We try to choose one of the 42 Advices and Queries each week to ponder upon. This week, No. 40 was chosen:

In view of the harm done by the use of alcohol, tobacco and other habit-forming drugs, consider whether you should limit your use of them or refrain from using them altogether. Remember that any use of alcohol or drugs may impair judgment and put both the user and others in danger.
